2012

I look back on 2012. It is been an eventful year to look back on. First, I had a lot of homework. It was too hard for me to do them. But I think it is good to study English hard. I like English but I am not good at speaking, reading and writing English. I have to keep my nose to the grindstone to make my dream reality. I have a dream to work at an airport. I have wanted to work at an airport since I was an elementary school student. It is my abiding dream. I will keep plugging away at studying next grade. Second, I could make good memories with my family and some of my friends. I was always smiling in the university everyday. I went to Kumamoto castle to watch cherry blossoms in spring. In summer, I went to the sea with some of my friends of high school. We rented a cottage a day and put up there. I went back to my home town, Taragi, with Sumire, Fumisa, Kanoko and Misaki. We went to the river to swim and barbecue in my house. The river was too cold to swim. I want to go back my house with some of my friends again! I went to Fukuoka twice to see the concert. I really enjoyed seeing them. I love The Third J Soul Brothers and 2PM more! I can't wait to see them next time!
Now, I heve some test next week. I want all credits. So I am studying hard. (260/ 15088 words)

Coming-of-age ceremony

I went two coming-of-age ceremony in January. Because my home town is Taragi and I went to Toryo high school in Kumamoto city.  I lived in Kumamoto city from 5 years old to 9 years old and from 15 years old to now. Actually, I wanted to see each of my friends and I wanted to wear long-sleeved kimono. The long-sleeved kimono is my mother's one. First, I didn't want to wear it because the color was pink. I don't like pink and I wanted to wear red one. I had to wear it my older brother and my sister-in-low's wedding ceremony. In fact, I like kimono when I wore it in the ceremony. My mother hoped that I were it and if I have a daughter someday, she will wear it. The long-sleeved kimono was given my mother from my grandmother. My mother told me 'I didn't like it at first sight. I felt it was very unstylish.' I felt rather strongly that my mother and I are definitely parent and child. haha*:D
In coming-of-age day, girls have to get up early to set in hair and make up. It was grueling for me to get up early. I am not good at doing that.
I could see many friends in the hall and I took many pictures with some of my friends. I enjoyed talking with them. I was really glad to see them. (238/ 14828 words)

TH: My favorite high school memory

I am going to talk about my favorite high school memory. When I was a high school student, I could spend really good time. So I have many good memories. First, I lived in a dormitory. Because it was too far to go to school from my parents' house. I could talk with some of my friends of the dorm all night and we cooked some dishes together. I get along with them now. I'm going to see them in Spring vacation. Second, I was a member of baseball club as a manager. I like baseball very much. Our team was the best one. But we could not go to KOSHIEN which is admired by all of baseball players. But my teammate gave me a deep impression and good memories. I will never forget about spending time with them. Third, I went to China as a school trip when I was in the first grade. I could go to many tourist spots. (162/ 14590 words)

I am going to talk about my favorite animal. My favorite animal is dog because they are so cute and kind for people. I think they can feel our feelings. If I feel sad, they always sit down by my side. I have four dogs in my parent's house. Their names are Thunder, Mone, Shokichi and Lobin. Thunder means Alexander and a peal of thunder. We hope he will be stronger. Actually he becomes a very handsome. Thunder is father, Mone is mother and Shokichi and Lobin are sons of Thunder and Mone. Mone had five babies about 3 years ago. But my family was able to have all of them, so we gave each of a dog to my grandparents and the acquaintances. My grandparents have already had a dog. Her name is Marron. She is very old and clever. New Year's Eve

I went back to my home town, Taragi, during winter vacation. I worked at my part-time job from December 30th. So I went back to Taragi on December 31st. I was very tired and I wanted to see my family as soon as possible. My mother came to Hitoyoshi when I got there at noon. I went back there by express way bus. The express way bus was full of people because the day was end of year. I always use one to go back to my house and the bus is not full every time. Actually, I want to go back to my house by my family's car because it is very confortable for me. But my parents are very busy every time. My mother and I went to the super market in Hitoyoshi to prepare dinner and New Year. I wanted to eat some candies before dinner. My mother bought them for me. I like candies but they make me a fat>< We had not eaten lunch yet, so we brought humburger. After that, we went to my grand parent's house to see my grand parents. I like my grand parents, so I was looking forward to see them. They game a present for my birthday. My birthday was December 26th. I was very happy to get a present. After finishing eating lunch, my mother and I went back to our house in Taragi. My father worked in Minamata on the day and my second brother went out with some of his friend. I spent New Year's Eve with my mother. I watched Red and White Singing Contest on TV because EXILE and The J Soul Brothers was appearing on. (283/ 14276 words)

Weekend

My weekend was very busy because I had many plans. I met my older brother and my sister-in-low to meet our grand parents. My grand mother had been in the hospital from the end of year to January 18 and my grand father's birthday was January 17. So we celebrated that. We brought some cakes. My grand parents looked happy. After that, my brother, my sister-in-low and I had eaten dinner yet. So we went to downtown to eat dinner. It was very delicious. I want to go there with some of my friend someday. We went back to my house near university. My brother and my sister-in-low stayed my house. Next morning, we got up early as usual because we had to go to our grand parents house to eat lunch together. So we had to finish our plans by noon. We went to downtown first. (147/ 13928 words)

Hello, I'm Iori. I'm going to tell you about my favorite artist. My hobby is listening to music, so I will talk about my favorite music artist. First, I talk about 2PM. Do you know 2PM? 2PM is Korean artist. They are called 'Chimsundol.' It means BEAST IDOL. They had held the concerts for threev times in Japan, and a concert will start this week. I will go there on January 12. 2PM has sis members. TEKYEON is very clever. He marked full score in TOEIC test. NICHKHUN Thai and Korean. They lived in America for many years, so they can speak English very well. WOOYOUNG is called HIYOKO by Japanese fans. He looks like a chick. JUNHO has very good personality. JUN.K is the best singer of all members. My favorite mamber is CHANSUNG. He is good at tae kwon do and kendo. He is the youngest in the group. I like him very much. Next, I talk about EXILE. EXILE has fourteen members. I think they are the most famous group in Japan. HIRO is the reader of EXILE. He got married Ueto Aya last year. MATSU is a good performer and he is an actor too. USA is a kind man. He is traveling around the world over dancing. MAKIDAI is a handsome and he plays DJ. ATSUSHI is the best singer in Japan. He likes sunglasses. AKIRA joined to EXILE in 2006. He is an actor too. I like TAKAHIRO the best in EXILE. He joined to EXILE in 2006 by VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION. He is good at Karate and Shodo and painting. He is from Nagasaki. Next, THE SECOND from EXILE. They are the member of EXILE and it. It has five people in the group. The group set up in 2012. KENCHI can speak Chinese. KEIJI is from Miyazaki. He is good at cooking. He is very funny person. TETSUYA is a romanticist. He likes coffee. NESMITH is from Kumamoto. SHOKICHI and NESMITH are very good singers. SHOKICHI has the natural innocence of a fool and he is pure. Finally, I talk about The Third J Soul Brothers. They debut two years ago. NAOTO and NAOKI are EXILE members too. In September, I went to Fukuoka to see their first concert 'ZERO.' I was very glad to see them. NAOTO and NAOKI are readers of The Third J Soul Brothers. They are very good performers. NAOTO is very honest man. NAOKI is very clever person too. He is the highest in the group. ELLY is good at playing baseball. He was a very famous player when he was a high school student. Kenhiro Yamashita is very good at playing voice percussion and he likes fishing. Takanori Iwata is very clever. He entered to Keio elementary school and graduated from Keio university. Ryuji Imaichi is very cool and very good singer. He has a nice smile. I like Hiroomi Tosaka the best person  in Japan now. He is a very good singer. He is called OMI-KUN. I want to see them again as soon as possible. That's all. Thank you!

RAKUGO

I learned about RAKUGO in Ms. Tsutsui's class. I am going to read this sentences in next class. I translated Japanese RAKUGO into English by myself.

Man:  I heard you are a very very stingy and you have saved a lot of money. I want to save money, so would you tell me the secret?

Mr. Stingy: I see, you want to know the secret how to be a stingy, right? , Then, please go to the garden, and  you see the tree there?  Place a ladder against  the tree and climb up.

Man: That tree?  OK. Now, I’m up the tree.

Mr. Stingy: Next you choose any branch you like  and hang on it.

BR2-34: Martin Luther KING

'I have a dream,' are some of the most famous words in the history of the United States of America. When Martin Luther King said these words in front of a crowd in Washington in 1963, thousands cheered, and the speech was shown all over the world. But less than five years later, he was shot dead. Why didi millions of people love him? Why did others hate him?

I read 'Martin Luther King.' I know a greatest man because I learned about him in English class when I was a junior high school student. I recite his famous speech at that time.  Martin Luther King is a book which is Oxford Bookworms Factfiles series. The series give us real history and interesting information. I learn many things from Oxford Bookworms Factfiles. Oxford Bookworms Factfiles has 4 stages. The book is stage 3 and it has 1000 headwords. The book has 14 chapters: 1 A man from Alabama; 2 Growing up in Atlanta; 3 Slavery and the south; 4 War in America; 5 Learning; 6 The Montgomery Bus Boycott; 7 Big trouble in Little Rock; 8 A new start?; 9 The march on Washington; 10 'This country is sick!'; 11 'I'm black and I'm proud!'; 12 'Black and White, unite and fight!'; 13 Death in Memphis; 14 Still dreaming. I thought chapter 9 is very shocking. Because there are some pictures in the page. I was shocked by a picture in which a black man was bitten by a police dog, therefore many people was hurt. I don't know why to happen a radical discrimination. There were many discrimination in America about 60 years ago. For example, the black people had to use taps which was separated from the white people. The black people could not permit to take the buses with white people.
Now, the President of the USA is Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. I think he can be making steady change America.

The Sorcerer and the White Snake

I watched The Sorcerer and the White Snake during the class. I don't know this movie, so I have watched the movie for first time. I don't know the man who play a hero in the movie. I don't see any movies in my house or the theater. (49/ 12620 words)

I went to Fukuoka to see a concert last Saturday. The concert was 2PM's. Do you know 2PM? They are a Korean group. They are very cool and they can speak Japanese well. I went there my mother. We have been to their concert once before the day. My mother likes them too. My mother likes TEAKYEON. He lives in America for long time and he was a person with double nationality. But he renounced his nationality of America because he will enlist in the army of Korea. It is a duty of Korea. TEAKYEON is a good English speaker. He marked full score of TOIEC last year. I respect for his scholastic ability. So I have to study English hard like him!
We got up around 7 to take a train which go to Kumamoto station. I was looking forward to see them so I got up before the alarm went off at the set time. We could take the train and could arrive Kumamoto station. Next we got off the train and took a Shinkansen from Kumamoto station to Hakata station. It took us about an hour and half. We reached at Hakata station about 9:30. After that, we took a bus to Fukuoka Marine messe to buy many goods of the concert. But the goods shop started selling at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. So we had to wait for the shop opening. My mother and I talked about 2PM's member for a while. There were many parent and child like us. About two hours past, the shop was opened. We bought many goods. The goods very cute and useful. I bought a lunch box, a pair of socks, a lip stick, a towel and more. I like CHANSUNG. Actually, I gave a presents. It was a KUMAMON's figure. We went back to Hakata station to eat lunch and buy some souvenirs. Hakata station is too big! So we were very tired to see shops. I bought a cardigan for my older brother as a souvenirs. We ate a bowl of rice topped with fish for our lunch.
The concert was going to start on 6 o'clock in the evening, so we left Hakata station around 5 o'clock. Our seat line was 56, so I thought it was so far from main stage, we can't see them enough. But a Hanamichi was long! We could see all member enough!! I felt very happy, and I cried out 'Chansung!' for many time. Junho's solo stage made me very happy! I want new album as soon as possible and listen to their music.
The concert took about three hours. In an encore, all people in the hall sang 'Happy birthday to you' for Jun.K. Jun.K's birthday is January 15. The other members of 2PM was singing too. A birthday cake appeared. Jun.K looked very surprised and delightful! I felt happy to see his face. I want to go their concert with my mother again. Another concert will hold in Tokyo dome, but I don't have enough money so I can't go it. Please come to Kyusyu more!!!! (518/ 12571 words)

In the next morning, I went back to my home town, Taragi. I spend New Year in my house of Taragi every year. And this year, I had a coming-age celebration. It was held on January 4th.
