Home party

March 26, 2012

I held home party with coworkers in my home after part-time job. The members were Taiki, Tatsuro, Yuma, Rio, Natsumi and Eri. First, Taiki, Rio, Natsumi and I went to buy some drinks and meals to the Ace which is near my home. We wanted to eat Kimuchi-nabe! So we bought ingredients to need to cook it. After that, we went to my home and Eri was coming my home then. I prepared Kimuch-nabe. Then Tatsuro was coming. He helped me. We enjoyed talking over eating it. A few minutes later, Rio was going out with her boy friend to see a night view. We planed to see a night view too. Yuma was coming near my home, we went to Aso to see a night view. Yuma is well informed about astronomy. The day could see many stars. Yuma told us about stars. It was so beautiful!! But there was too cold to see a night view. But I enjoyed seeing it!! After that, we went back my home and talked about many topics. For example, our part-time job, our hobbies. I had a good time. I want to hold home party again. (197/8691 words)

weekend

I had two birthday party in this weekend. First, Tomo and Aki-san's birthday party. The member are Yuko, Taiki, Baba-san, Junko, Tomo, Aki-san and I. We had gone to the zoo since before. I went to the restaurant. (I forgot the restaurant's name)  There were many delicious meals! I ate a lot of meals. And I ate birthday cake, it was delicious too. After that, we went to the feal, the tea shop, to have a tea break. I talked with Yuko about my English. Yuko is English teacher in Kumamoto university. So she always give me many good advices. And Baba-san is interested in English. Tomo, Aki-san and Baba-san are going to study abroad. (116/8234 words)

BR1-14: Singer Wanted

The school band Hot Rock is looking for a new singer. Daniela and Gemma bath want to sing with the band. Who will be the new singer?

I read Singer wanted. It was published by Foundations reading library and it was written by Rob Waring and Maurice Jamall. It is a story about the rock band “Hot Rock”. Hot Rock is Faye’s band. The members are Faye, John, Tyler and David. One day, Hoy Rock wants a new singer. They recruit one. Jenny and Daniela watch announcement about it on the board, and Daniela wants to be a new Hot Rock’s singer! Then, their friend, Gemma comes to them, and she says “I want to sing for Hot Rock.”

It’s Saturday, Hot Rock is looking for their new singer. Daniela is going to sing with band member, but she is nervous, so she can’t sing well. Next, Gemma sings for the band, too. She sings very well! Everyone likes her singing. Daniela knows Gemma is very good. The band talks about Daniela and Gemma. David, John and Tyler want Gemma, but Faye wants Daniela, because she likes her singing. They talk for a long time. Faye says, “We want Gemma to be the new singer!” Gemma says, “Thank you, everyone.” Daniela is very sad, but she says to Gemma, “Congratulations.”

The next day, Gemma meets the band again. The band is happy with their new singer. They are very excited! Gemma gives clothes to the band. They don’t want it. Gemma says the band’s name is going to change, and she wants sing POP songs. But they don’t want to change it and don’t play POP music. Gemma is very selfish!

After all, the band wants Daniela to be in their band, they want her to sing with them. Daniela is happy, and she says “Thank you.”

MR: Dark Shadows

I wached Dark Shadows's trailer on trailers.apple.com.
Johnny Depp plays the leading part. I like him, and I like Pirates of Caribbean the best all of movie.
Dark Shadows has already  shown since May 11th. The genre is thriller. I watch its CM on TV. So, I am kind of interested in the movie. If I have a free time and enough money, I go to the theter to watch it! (71/7785 words)

Namiko stayed my house!

Today, I had a part-time job from 15:50 to 19:10. I wanted to finish my work early, because I had a plan to meet with Namiko after I  finish working. So I finish my work as soon as possible, and I bought Mister Donuts for Namiko. Namiko and I have known each other since we were high school student. We were same class for three years! We graduated from Toryo high school.
Namiko came my house around 10 pm. After that we ate dinner, and donuts. We enjoyed talking. We had a nice chat.
Namiko likes Kato Milliyah, so we watched her music videos and Namiko sung songs.lol I like CRY and TOMORROW the best of all her songs. Please listen to it!
Namiko and I slipped off to sleep.
In the morning, I cooked breakfast  for Namiko.

YURI and NAOKO

 I met friends who works same part time job are Yuri and Naoko. The part time job is KOYAREN. It calls The Japan High School Baseball Federation in English. The main description of job make an announcement in baseball stadium. All of us were baseball club manager when we were high school students. Yuri was from Luther high school, Naoko was from Shoyo high school and I was from Toryo high school. We love baseball very much. I like the positions of the catcher and the short! Their fielding is sooooo cool!

We arrange to surprize for Moemi's birthday. Moemi is member of KOYAREN too. She was from Yastushiro high school. We wrote a massage to Moemi in cafe. I hope to she will become happy. We took Purikura. I like them. I had a really good time. I can’t wait for Moemi’s birth day party! (149/ 7565 words)

There is a new villain in town and his name is Doc Ock. With four long and scary tentacles, he is a force to be reckoned with, even for Spider-Man. Will our web-crawling hero be able to stop Doc Ock before it's too late?

I read Spider-Man versus Doc Ock.  This story is about a Spider-Man. I have never watched Spider-Man's movie and read them. But I have watch this character in the Universal Studio Japan.
The hero of a novel is Spider-Man. But nobody knows it. When he is Spider-man, he helps others. But sometimes he needs help too. For example, he is late for class. He doesn't want to be late for this class. He likes Dr. Conners. He really want to talk him why he is late for class, but it can't do. No one can know that he is Spider-Man.
He is going to interview a scientist named Dr. Octavius, because Dr. Connors said he has to write a big paper for his class.

Helping people feels good, he think. This is the fun part, but he think his job as photographer is fun too. When he reads news paper, he looks funny name, Doc Ock. It sounds a little like Dr. Octavius. He hopes that nothing went wrong with his experiment. He goes to the bank to check salary. There is a Doc Ock. Spider-Man fights him. But Doc Ock disappears somewhere.

I want to watch this movie on DVD as soon as possible! (254/7461 words)

my weekend

I met Yuko, Taiki and Baba-chan yesterday, because my friend's birthday is coming and we choose their present. Tomo's and Aki-san's birthday is coming. First, we met at PARCO and went to Village Vanguard. Tomo likes funny goods, so we will give her A funny book and dish. (shape of unchi)
Second, we went to drag store. we chose protein for Aki-san. Taiki and Baba-chan said he is always training his body. Taiki and Baba-chan wanted to choose their teacher's present. So, we went to TSURUYA. We went to baby's corner, and looked at baby's clothes. It was so cute. Finally, I we went to Baba-chan's home. (108/7182 words)

BR1-12: Arthur's first kiss

School was out for the weekend. "See you at my party tomorrow," Francine said to Arthur and Buster.
"So are you REALLY going to kiss Francine tomorrow?" Buster asked Arthur.
"What!" yelled Arthur. "Well, that's what Francine is telling everyone", said Buster. What is going to happen to Arthur?!

 

I read Arthur's first kiss. It was written by Marc Brown. It was published by Random House in 2001.

It is a story about Authur's kiss. One day, Francine and Muffy invited their classmate. One of them was Arthur. When Arthur and Buster got out school, Buster said that Francine tell others about kissing, Arthur and Francine. Arthur though he would rather kiss a frog. The next day, Arthur got dressed for the party. D.W. said "I want to go the party, too. I'll be your bodyguard, I'll keep Francine from kissing you." Arthur said "If you really want to help, you can take Pal for a walk later." Pal is their dog. Arthur walked Muffy's house and rang the bell. He said to himself "I hope they don't play that bottle kissing game." All of Arthur's friends were in the family room.Buster said to Arthur, "Relax, Francine said we won't play spin-the-bottle." But Francine and Muffy were busy doing something in the corner. Francine said to everyone "I'm writing each boy's names on a piece of paper for a game." And Muffy said, "I'm writing the girl's names." To tell the truth, however, Francine wrote only Arthur's name, Muffy wrote only Francine's name. So, Muffy tie a scarf around Arthur's eyes. Outside, D.W. has just seen it. D.W. run to the garage. The door had a tiny flap for Muffy's cat to go in and out. D.W. opened the flap and pushed Pal through it. Pal was happy to see Arthur. He gave Arthur a great big kiss. Arthur though Francine kissed to him, but it was misconception. After that, Arthur bought a piece of cake home for D.W., and he said to her "You're a great bodyguard," and he had something for Pal, too -a great big kiss!

I don't know spin-bottle-game, so I serch it on the internet. I find it, I surprised! Japan doesn't have game like it!

BR1-11: The umbrella

It is raining. The sky is grey. Calra is a student. She buys a red umbrella. This is her lucky day.

I read The umbrella. It was written by Clare Harris. It is a story about a umbrella. When it is a rainy day, Calra goes to the market to look at the umbrellas. She likes a red one, it looks smart. It costs 10 dollars, but she is a student, she doesn't have enough money. She asks for a discount. The shop assistant agrees with her opinion, so she pays 7 dollars, and gets it. The shop assistant says "this is your lucky day!" and Carla thihks so too. She holds the red umbrella above her head, and she goes to a cake shop. She wants to buy cakes, because her little brother loves cakes. She goes to into the shop, leaves her red umbrella near the door. It is quite inside the shop. Calra chooses three small cakes, talks to the shop assistant. Then, a customer is leaving the shop. After that, Calra is going to leave the shop, but she can't find her red umbrella. There is another near the door. This umbrella is old and black. It has pattern of yellow ducks. It is not smart. Calra thinks this is not my lucky day. Calra walks to the town square, and a young man speaks to her and smiles. But Calra doesn't know this young man. She walks away quickly, but the young man is following Calra. Calra turns, and says "go away!" She is angry. The young man is sad, and says "Marisa, I'm sorry!" Calra shouts "I'm not marisa!" The young man says the umbrella is Marisa's one, so he gets the wrong person. But the young man has never met her. He is going to meet her.  It is his cousin's idea. His cousin works with Marisa. Calra thinks Marisa is a thief. Calra is angry again. The young man smiles at Calra, and says "Let's have coffee together." Calra thinks for a moment, and says "OK." The young man's name is Paul. In the cafe, they talk and laugh over drinking coffee. But she must go home, because she has an exam tomorrow. They promise to meet again. In the town square, Calra sees a woman who has a red umbrella is Marisa! Marisa sees the old black umbrella with yellow ducks. She is worried. Suddenly, her face is red. Calra says "Don't worry. Keep my red umbrella. I like this umbrella. It is a lucky umbrella. This is lucky day!" Calra smiles. Then she runs home.

It is nice story. I may meet someone who is like a Paul in the story someday! lol

Hello! Everyone! I am Sophie. I'm from Versailles, France. There is the Palace of Versailles. It is very beautiful.
My job is director. I make TV programs. I have joy and happiness in my job. But there is an probrem. I hate a computer. I always use it to work, but to tell the truth, I would not use it if I could. I want to write scenario without using computer, I write it by my hand. If I do, it takes long time to finish writing...>< So I have to use it for a living. I think of using it as part of my job and do it.  My hobby is knitting. New animal!

I am going to introduce the pichiken. It is new combination animal. It is combination a pig and a chiken. It has two legs like, two wings like a chiken. But it doesn't have beak. It has a mouth like a pig. It has two ears like a pig, it is so cute, so it has great hearing. Good point are taste good , it can run fast. But it can't fly because their weight is heavy. I read The three billy goats gruff. It is seried Folk and fairy tale easy reader.  It is a story about there billy goat brothers.  Their names are Little Billy, Middle Billy, and Big Billy.  One day, they decide to cross the bridge to eat the sweet grass on the other side, but there is only one problem. It means troll lives under it. When Little Billy starts across the bridge, he hears a cranky voice. Troll yells "stop there! I am going to eat you up!" Little Billy says "wait for my brother. He is bigger and much more delicious than I!" Next, Middle Billy starts across it, and hears a cranky voice again. Troll yells same words to Middle Billy. Middle Billy says "wait for my brother. He is bigger and much delicious than I!" Finally, Big Billy starts across it, and troll appears. Tross says "stop there! I am going to eat you up!", troll attacks him. But Big Billy have an idea. Big Billy pushes  troll, and troll falls down a bridge to the river. Big Billy cleans up troll! So, the three billy goats gruff can eat the sweet grass on the other side.

I knew the story written in Japanese, and I read it when I was a child. Clomp sounds cute!lol

I went to welcome party of exchange students in Kumamoto University. I went there with Fumisa and Kanoko. I met there Yuko, Tomo, Junko and Baba-chan, they are my Japanese friends since before. I have known exchange student there too, Gyoung Min, Hang Sik, Ye Jin, Chang Young, Sim and Siro. Gyong Min and Han Sik is exchange student in KGU, others are in Kumamoto uni.. I couldn't talk enough them, because there were a lot of people. But I enjoyed talked them, took pictures. I could make new friend on Face book who met there. I want to keep contacting them. I hope to speak English and Korean well.

doimg my homework

Today, I did my homework with my friends, Fumisa and Sumire in KGU. I have to do a lot of my homework, I think it will be very hard. We did my home works of writing class, book reviews. Then, I understood how to write it. I use English to do my home works, so I hope to be able to speak, write English well. I go for it!! In the evening, I went to my upper coworker’s another part time job. My upper coworker said please help my restaurant. So, I went to help him. The restaurant, GENKOTSU, is very delicious. It is in Hotakubo. I have not ever worked in the restaurant then. It was fun for me to work there. If I have a free time, I will work there again. (137/5648 words)

Tyler and John are playing with their remote control cars in the park. Faye and David are on the beach. They see a woman's bag and run to the park. How can they all help the woman?

I read Quick thinking. It is a story about some children, a woman and a robber. One day, John and Tyler are in the park, playing with their remote control cas and planes. There are Faye and David. too. After that, Faye and David are going to the beach. Near the beach, Daniela  sells ice creams, and Faye and David buy it. On the beach, they are going to swimming. Everybody is having a great time there. Faye and David put their things on the beach. They are getting ready to swim, and then, they see a man running on the beach. Faye and David don't know why a man is running. The man has bag, and a woman shouts "stop!" , because the man has her bag. He is a robber! He is running away. Faye calls Daniela, and says "Stop that man." Daniela pushes the cart into the man. The man falls down and drops the woman's bag, but Daniela can't stop the man. The man gets up and takes the woman's bag. He runs away to the park. Faye, David and Daniela run away there too. They think how to stop the man. David calls Tyler. David asks Tyler to stop the man. Tyler tells John about the man, and the man appear. They stop the man to use their remote control cars and planes. Many people help John and Tyler. They want to stop the man. This time, the man falls into the lake. He can't run away. He is wet and cold. Two police officer came to the park, and arrest him. A police says "thank you very much." Tyler hells him about Faye, David and Daniela, too. "That is quick thinking," he says.

I think they are  plucky youngsters!!

BR1-8: Harry's Great Big Burp

It started in his tummy. His tummy started to rumble, and mumble, and grumble. Then... POP!

I read Harry's great big burp. The book was published by Macmillan Education Australia Pty Ltd. It is a story about Harry's burp.
 He lived with his mother, and she gave him all kinds of food that he didn't like. She gave him a lot of fruit and a lot of vegetables. "Now eat them up and don't make a big fuss." So, he ate up all his fruit and vegetables. One day, his mother got some prunes, but Harry didn't like it. "Prunes are very good for you", his mother said. Reluctantly, he ate it.
Then he got on the bus, he felt physically ill. It started in his tummy. His tummy started to rumble, and mumble, and grumble. Then... POP!
A great big burp came from Harry's mouth. The bus driver though the motor is too hot, so that big pop made. But the motor was not too hot.
Harry was in the library, and he felt physically ill, and another great big burp came from his mouth. The great big burp like a earthquake. Librarian called the police, but earthquake was not happen. It was due to Harry's big burp. He didn't stay school, and said to his mother, "I will not eat prunes ever again."
It was diverting story.

My golden week

My golden week was sooooooooo exited!  Because I had many plans.
First, I went back to my home town to see my family and my grand parents. I met grand parents after long time, so I enjoyed taking with them. Second, I met my friends who lived same dormitory when we were high school students. I was looking forward to see them! We went to eat dinner to Garden Party in front of MUJIRUSHIRYOUHIN in downtown. There was my other friend as part-time job, so he serviced something to drink to free. It was lucky!  The foods very delicious! I want to go there with my friends again! After that, we took a Purikura and some of members went back home the others went to Karaoke. I had a good time. Third,

BR1-7: THE JEWWELLERY SHOP ROBBERY

Eddie was walking home from school. As he came around a corner, he saw that the jewellery shop had been robbed. All the jewellery had taken…

I read “The jewellery shop robbery”. It is about jewelry shop robberies and a boy story. One day, a boy Eddie came across locality of jewelry shop has been robbed. The robbers took all the jewelry. That night, Eddie and his mother watched about this news on TV. The reporter said that people on the street had seen the men get away in a red car, and Eddie said that he saw a red car parked outside the empty house next door, when he came home from school.  And he has not seen this one here before. After dinner, Eddie went outside. He looked over at the house next door. It was dark and empty and the red car was still parked there. Eddie looked into empty house, the noise coming from there, then, Eddie saw looked two men sitting at a table. They were taking things out of a big black box. Eddie could see that it was jewelry. Eddie moved away from there, he run down the path and into his house. Eddie said “Mom! Call the police! The jewellery robbers are next door.” His mother called police, and police came to the house to take the robbers away. Police said to Eddie “you are going to make a good detective one day”, and Eddie said “I think I am, too.”

I think the book was written in British English.

BR1-6: The moon seems to Change

Can you see the moon?

I read "The moon seems to change". It is a story about the moon. I learned about it when I was a junior high school student. I didn't like to study it then, but I read it and I think it is interesting to learn it.

It writes about a full moon, a quarter moon, a crescent moon. I know that it call a full moon and a quarter moon, but for the first time I know that MIKADUKI in Japanese calls a crescent moon in English.

The moon seems to change, but it really doesn’t. It seems to change because the moon goes around Earth. Half of the moon is always lighted by the sun. Half is lighted and half is always in darkness.

It takes the moon about four weeks to go around Earth.

This book has many pictures. It is easy to understand.

Tonight, I see the moon carefully.

goodbye party

Today, I had two plans.

First, I went a hairdresser's in the afternoon. I had changed my hair color. I usually go to COURRĒGES in downtown.

After that, I met Rio. We went shopping, I choose clothes to Rio. I wanted new cloth in JEANASIS for a while, so I went to buy it. It is so cute! I can’t wait to wear it~^^

Second, I went to goodbye party of leave coworkers. Rio and I work same part-time job, so we went to meeting place together. In meeting place, some of coworkers had already waited. We went to Yakiniku. Rio and I ate Yakiniku for the second successive day.

I enjoyed talking with leave coworkers. I want to meet their again someday.

Today, we woke up around nine but we got up at 10. After that, we put on makeup over watching DVD of 2PM and FTISLAND. Arisa likes FTISLAND, they are Korean rock band. My Korean friends said FTISLAND is loved by young people in Korea.

Arisa and Seiko went back their homes.

From afternoon, I met coworkers of my part-time job of a cram school. We went to Karaoke. I think when we met, we always go to Karaoke. lol

We went out of Karaoke, we went to eat Yakiniku. It was very delicious, but I am a light eater, so I couldn’t eat more. They always said to me “you’re a light eater.” I am very concerned about that, so I don’t like to say it. How can I eat enough~?><
